Frequently asked questions.
What you might be wondering…
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — these fill quickly, and each experience is customized. Booking early helps us plan the best possible experience for your day.
How safe is this?
Safety is our top priority — always. Our Jeeps are fully legal, road-ready, and maintained to the highest standard. Riding with us is no different than a rideshare… except the doors are off, the views are better, and the breeze is way fresher. And yes — all our drivers have completed at least 500+ Uber rides with a 4.97+ rating, so you’re in good hands from pickup to drop-off.
What happens if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine experience! As long as it’s safe to drive, we’re going. Light showers are part of the island vibe, and honestly, some of the best views come with moody skies and misty cliffs (and a RAINBOW) . On especially rainy days, we may put the roof up, but you should come prepared to experience authentic O‘ahu — not just the postcard version.
Is this a private ride?
Yes — all rides are private by default (up to 4 guests per Jeep), giving you full flexibility to explore at your own pace with a route tailored to your interests.
The only exception is the Brews Cruise, which offers single-seat bookings and may be shared with other guests. Want that all to yourself? That’s also available on the experiences page.
Private experiences start at $800 for 6 hours and can be extended up to 8 hours.
Got your own itinerary in mind? Reach out and we’ll help you build a custom route and experience that hits everything on your list.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes — all guests must be under 250 lbs for safety and vehicle balance. We may weigh guests before departure. Mahalo for understanding.
Is there an age limit?
Yes:
Private Rides: 14yrs plus accompanied adult
Brews Cruise: 21+ (must be of legal drinking age)
How long are the experiences?
Each has a set time window, which you’ll see listed on the experience page when booking. Timing depends on the route and destination.
Can we help choose the stops?
It depends on the experience. We’ll suggest highlights, but you’re welcome to request scenic lookouts, beaches, food spots, or photo ops. For the East Oahu Experience, the route is more pre-planned but we can make small alterations within reason.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Yes — we provide complimentary pickup from Waikīkī & Honolulu hotels. Just let us know where you’re staying when you book.
What should I bring?
A thirst for adventure! Also:
Reef-safe sunscreen
Sunglasses
A light jacket (especially if you run cold)
Some cash (for food trucks)
Phone/camera
We’ll provide a cooler with light snacks and cold drinks.
Do you offer GoPro rentals?
Not yet, but soon! GoPros will be available for $30/day, complete with a floaty grip and SD card you keep.
Will we stop for photos?
Definitely. Scenic stops are built into every ride, and your host is happy to pull over for anything Instagram-worthy along the way.
Can I play my own music?
Yes! This is a Sahara Edition with premium sound system - we will be vibing all day to music through its CarPlay/Android Audio and you’re more than welcome to pipe in your own sound so you can set the tracks for the day.
What does the “Brews Cruise” entail?
We’ll visit up to seven of Oʻahu’s top breweries, stopping for pics and snacks along the way. Onboard drinks and snacks are included, but purchases at each brewery are on you.
Are there any beaches to visit?
Absolutely. Choose the Beach Break Add-On when booking, and we’ll chat post-booking to tailor it. Swimming is at your own risk. You’ll need to bring a microfiber towel — hotel towels can’t be accommodated, but we do have microfiber ones available for purchase..
